The Desert Research Institute (DRI) has received a $14,000 grant from Sierra Pacific Power Company to support the Sierra Pacific Fellowship Program for 1999. The fellowship supports a University of Nevada, Reno graduate student enrolling in UNR's atmospheric sciences, environmental science and health, or hydrologic sciences program, and working under the direction of a DRI scientists.
DRI awards the fellowship, now in its third year, in conjunction with UNR's Center for Environmental Sciences and Engineering.
