DRI hires Associate Research Visualization Scientist
Patrick O'Leary comes from Idaho National Laboratory

RENO, Nev.—Patrick O'Leary has joined the Desert Research Institute as an Associate Visualization Scientist.  He comes to DRI from the Idaho National Laboratory, where he was the Scientific Computing Manager.

"With the development of our new computer visualization technology at DRI, we're very excited to have Patrick join the institute" said Michael Auerbach, director DRI's Division of Earth and Ecosystem Sciences. "He comes to us with more than 18 years of relevant work experience in scientific visualization and has a PhD in Applied Mathematics."

O'Leary earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wyoming, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas.
