DRI hires Staff Geomorphologist
Graham Dalldorf specializes in characterizing desert terrain

Graham DalldorffRENOGraham Dalldorf has been hired as a Staff Geomorphologist at the Desert Research Institute to work in the characterization of desert terrains.

“DRI has conducted extensive desert terrain research, which for example has assisted our military’s efforts in the Middle East,” said Stephen Wells, DRI President. “Graham joins a distinguished team in this area and will add much to our efforts.”

Dalldorf will be involved in the development and analysis of geomorphic and soils data from various landscape terrains with a focus on the generation of terrain maps from aerial photographic and or satellite imagery-based mapping. He will also conduct field oriented studies and geomorphic data analysis in support of cultural resources studies.

He received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996 and a Master’s in Geography from the University of Oregon in 2003.
